Should the center be notified that we should be placed on a lock - down due to a dangerous situation, safety reasons, a notice will be placed on the front entrance of the building, indicating to parents that children may not leave the center until the notice is removed. During a lock-down, no child or adult may enter or leave the building until the lock-down is lifted. The center staff will take directions for any/all authorities in charge. The staff will make every effort to keep the children calm and safe and continue with their normal routines. Teachers/Staff may not be able to use/or answer the telephone depending on the situation.
